Lisa is a self-taught, lens-based artist with an MFA in Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She combines photography and collage using family archives and found objects to explore autobiography, mortality, and storytelling. Her photo books include Dwell and The Long Way Home. Her photography can be found in various publications including Lenscratch, Reed Magazine, Fisheye Magazine, UPPERCASE, SHOTS, and Polaroid Now (Chronicle Books). She is a self-portrait category winner in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, a Photolucida Critical Mass finalist, an Analog Sparks Best Conceptual photography award recipient, and was a Distillery artist-in-residence at Brew House Arts. She is a member of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, and an editor and writer for Analog Forever Magazine.
